An "Immediate Denture" is a denture that is inserted the same day that the remaining teeth are removed. Leading up to the "oral surgery" appointment, or removal of the remaining teeth, we take impressions and take measurements of your bite and jaw. This all helps the laboratory with the fabrication and fit of your new denture. After you have an immediate denture placed you will see us again for numerous visits for denture adjustments, helping to get that  fit "just right".

NEED A NEW DENTURE?

Well we do those too! Many people do not realize that over time ones jaw bone can deteriorate and gum tissues can shrink. Thus, making a denture illfitting. Typically you can "reline" a denture to help achieve a better fit. But, if it has been too many years between Denture Care Visits, then you may need a new denture.  We follow the same steps as above to make a new denture, including impressions and measurments and try in appointments before you get your new denture. After you have a new denture placed you will see us again for numerous visits for denture adjustments, helping to get that  fit "just right".
